a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.
Pastor Nathan Madrid
Dear Church Family,
The Greater Albany SDA Church board has decided to resume in person service starting Sabbath June 20, 2020. We invite you to worship with us in person or online on the Greater Albany SDA YouTube channel. On your computer, smartphone, or tablet, just go to YouTube and search Greater Albany SDA or click on this link and it will take you there:
We will continue our Sabbath worship together. Keep in mind that you can also continue to return your tithes and offerings on the website through the online giving link or you can mail a check to the church address. You will be able to get updates going forward on the church website but we will also continue to email you as well.
I know that this is a worrisome and stressful time and want you all to know that your church leadership team is here to support you in any way we can. The elders and I will be making calls and praying for you each individually. If you have any questions feel free to contact me or any of the other church leaders. We will all continue to be the church for each other and the community around us. I see this pandemic as an opportunity for us to get our technology and website up to speed so that we can more effectively reach more people. An opportunity to remember that the people and not the building are the church. An opportunity to reconsider our health message. And another chance to refocus on how we can grow in our relationship with God, one another, and extend God's love to the world around us.
Lastly, remember, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). "Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence" (Ps. 91:3). "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed: for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). Pastor Nathan Madrid
